Terms of use
These terms govern the use of byme.ge. By signing in or listing a piece you agree to them.
1. What byme.ge is
byme.ge is a catalogue of handmade work. No sale, payment or delivery takes place on the site. Buyer and maker agree the terms of any purchase directly.
byme.ge is not a party to any deal between a buyer and a maker and is not responsible for the quality, delivery, payment or disputes.
2. For makers
List only things made by hand by you or your workshop. Someone else's work, bought-in or resale goods are not allowed.
Photos, text and other material must be yours or you must have the right to use them. Information (price, materials, status, delivery) must be accurate.
Items whose sale is prohibited or restricted by law, counterfeits, offensive content, spam and misleading listings are not allowed. If you sell an item restricted by law (for example a knife or a keepsake weapon) you are responsible for following the law.
An account belongs to one person or workshop. You are responsible for what is done with it.
3. Moderation
Pieces are published at once, but we may review them afterwards. We may hide or delete any piece or profile and suspend an account that breaks these terms or is reported. You will see the reason on your page.
Any visitor can report a problem with the "Report a problem" button.
4. Your content and our rights
You keep the rights to your photos and text. By posting them you give byme.ge a non-exclusive, free licence to show, resize and publish them on the site and to promote it (for example a social media card). You end this licence by deleting the piece or your account.
5. For buyers
Check the maker's information and agree price, payment, delivery and returns directly with the maker. Be careful when paying in advance.
Give a real contact when you send a message and do not use the service for spam. Be polite in the chat: an account that sends abusive or spam messages may be suspended.
6. Liability and changes
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, byme.ge is not liable for damage arising from deals, third-party content or service interruptions.
We may change these terms. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Georgian law applies.
